The League of American Orchestras and Association of Performing Arts Presenters announce the relaunch of Artists from Abroad — the most complete and up-to-date online resource for engaging foreign guest artists, providing essential guidance, forms, and useful links. The newly redesigned and relaunched website makes it even easier to find the information performing arts organizations and artist managers need to successfully navigate the U.S. visa and tax procedures that are required when engaging international artists for performances in the U.S.

Artists from Abroad is authored by immigration attorney Jonathan Ginsburg and tax expert Robyn Guilliams, together providing indispensable guidance. The site also provides the forms and web links you need to steer through the process of engaging guest artists reliably, efficiently and lawfully.

The new site includes:

• RSS feed that can automatically notify you of site updates
• Improved navigation
• Updated content and links throughout

International cultural engagement fuels creativity, supports diplomacy, and enriches artistic offerings in the United States and abroad. Navigating the process of obtaining nonimmigrant visas and understanding U.S. tax regulations can be challenging, but with the right information and careful planning, you can successfully present artists from abroad to American audiences.
