The National Endowment for the Arts is conducting discipline-specific webinars for Art Works grant guidelines in January and February 2013. These webinar workshops provide deeper insight into the guidelines for grant submission and allow applicants the opportunity to ask specific questions in real time. The webinars for Arts Education and Theater & Musical Theater will take place on Tuesday, February 12th. Participants may register for any or all of the webinars.

Deadlines for Arts Works and Challenge America Fast-Track
There are two deadlines for Art Works applications:

  • For projects under the area of creation or engagement: March 7, 2013
  • For projects under the area of creation, engagement, learning or livability: August 8, 2013

There is one deadline for Challenge America Fast-Track applications: May 23, 2013.

Amy Dorman is the Government, Education, and Research Intern at TCG for the spring of 2013. She is currently earning her MFA in Performing Arts Management from UNC School of the Arts with an emphasis on fundraising and advocacy. Previously she has worked at the Southeastern Center for Contemporary Art, Peppercorn Children’s Theatre, Milwaukee Repertory Theatre, Americans for the Arts, and the National Forensic League in various fundraising roles. A native of Milwaukee, WI, she graduated from Ripon College with degrees in Theatre and Spanish.
