In January 115 Art Works grants totaling $3,145,000 were awarded to TCG Member Theatres thanks to the NEA’s first round of funding for Fiscal Year 2015.
The NEA awarded a total of $26,571,000 through 917 Art Works grants to not-for-profit arts organizations nationwide. Art Works funding is awarded to not-for-profit arts organizations and supported projects across 13 artistic disciplines and fields and focuses primarily on the creation and presentation of both new and existing works for the benefit of American audiences.

Maggie Greene is the Research, Policy and Collective Action Intern at Theatre Communications Group and is originally from Portland, OR. She is a young theatre administrator and actor graduating from Fairfield University in May 2015 with a BA in Theatre and Theatre Administration & Management. She co-produced, designed, and performed in an award winning production of The Shape of Things by Neil LaBute and was presented the Theatre Arts award at Fairfield University.
