The NEA has announced the second round of funding for Fiscal Year 2015 totaling $25,599,000 awarded through 960 Art Works grants to not-for-profit arts organizations nationwide.
In this round of funding, 56 Art Works grants were awarded to TCG Member Theatres totaling $1,520,000. Art Works funding is awarded to not-for-profit arts organizations and supported projects across 13 artistic disciplines and fields and focuses primarily on the creation and presentation of both new and existing works for the benefit of American audiences.

In addition to Spring 2015 Art Works grants, the NEA has announced the Summer 2015 Our Town grants, totaling nearly $5 million awarded through 69 grants to 35 states and Puerto Rico.
The NEA awarded Our Town grants to 2 TCG Member Theatres, totaling $250,000. Our Town Grants are awarded to arts-based community development projects that contribute toward the livability of communities and help transform them into lively, beautiful and sustainable places with the arts at their core.
Miranda Cornell is the Research, Policy & Collective Action Intern at Theatre Communications Group and hails from Brooklyn, NY. She serves as the Artistic Director and co-founder of the Semicolon Theatre Company, a company for theatre artists and administrators aged 21 and under. Her most recent directing/producing credits were two full productions of new plays with Semicolon at the Kraine Theater in the East Village. She will attend Vassar College as a part of the Class of 2019.
